Engineering Project Supervisor

Job Description

• Responsible for working with suppliers to optimise machine parameters and improve, grinding wheels, cutting tools and polishing wheel performances for all existing and new machines with existing tools.
• Problem-solve existing issues with grinding wheels, cutting tools and polishing wheels.
• Responsible for raising Capex for existing machine repairs and also for purchasing new machines.
• Create SPC plan for all Cutting tools, Grinding wheels and polishing wheels.
• Participates in any technical review for tool performance for Supply Contract reviews
• Provides procedures for changing all grinding wheels, cutting tools and polishing wheels, includes measuring the life expectancy for any tool.
• Study the industry for any new advanced technology methods and or equipment.
• Commissioning and buy off any new or second-hand equipment
• Carryout any supplier Audits before outsourcing a job.
• Create any lessons learnt for improved way of working.

Requirements

• Hold a Strong Knowledge with a minimum 5 years - experience in grinding wheels, cutting tools and polishing wheels.
• Should be able to speak fluent Vietnamese and English.
• Proficient with the MS Office Suite.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Experienced in delivering effective presentations.
• Able to effectively present to the business any summary of any projects or work activities.
• Technical University.
• Should hold a minimum of a mechanical engineering degree.
• Project Leadership qualification such as Prince 3.
